Q: Why should we outsource our billing?

A: There are so many reasons to utilize a billing service. With rising costs of running a practice and the increasing reduced reimbursment, it makes sense to review the cost of the overhead of an in-house billing department. Salaries have soared over the past two years for experienced billers and coders. Add in the cost of employee health insurance, payroll tax, unemployment tax, holidays, vacations, employee turnover and the associated costs of training new staff. If your office space is limited. the square footage of your in-house billing can be turned into revenue enhancing patient rooms.
Q: Why should we switch over to your practice management system?

A: The practice management system is offered to you at no cost. There are no set up fees or hidden costs. All support, training and upgrades are included in your low monthly fee. There is no hardware to maintain or data to back up. Have a new employee? We can arrange for online training courses on how to use the software at your convenience.

Q. Do we have to use your software?
A:  While we recommend that you use our state of the art medical software, we can make arrangements to get your patient demographics, copies of their picture id and insurance cards (front and back), as well as your daily superbills in any way that is sutiable for you. We offer a toll free fax line so that you may fax this information to us, at no cost to you. We also accept your data via secure e-mail transmissions, Fed X or US Post Office delivery.
Q:

Q: Do you transmit claims electronically?
A: Yes to those insurance companies with the capabilities, using Navicure or ENS as the clearinghouse. Paper claims are still used for insurance companies that do not have the capability  of recieving electronic claims, or claims requiring additional documention. Our claims software "scrubs" claims for accuracy using the same edits that Medicare and Commercial Insurance companies use so that errors are found and corrected before the claim goes out, meaning you get paid faster.
Q: How do you charge for your services?

A: Fees are based on collections. We only charge you a percentage of your collections. The national average for billing service fees is 8.5%. While we will likely charge you less than that rate, keep in mind that as in most things, you get what you pay for. To be truly successful, a medical billing company should function as an extension of your office. Since we are focused only on maximizing your reimbursement, we can make sure that your A/R gets all the attention it requires. We will  monitor the primary, secondary, and patient balances until they are paid or resolved. All patient inquiries (via an toll free number) will be handled with a personal touch. We will handle these contact professionally and thoroughly, reporting any problems or complaints to your office. We will offer you an anaysis of your practice to determine our fee. A contract will be drawn up between us, valid for one year. At any time we
